About CVPA

The College of Visual and Performing Arts offers degrees in Art and Visual Technology, Dance, Film & Video Studies, Music, Theater, Arts Management, and Computer Game Design.

Professional and liberal arts courses of study are designed to prepare students for careers as creators, performers, teachers, scholars, arts leaders, and arts entrepreneurs, while enriching the cultural life of the George Mason Community.  The college is home to the Center for Arts, the professional presentation and production arm of the College of Visual and Performing Arts at George Mason University. Together, the College’s academic programs and the Center for the Arts offer students an environment rich with opportunity, where they will
