Undergraduate Admissions
Please visit the Mason Admissions Office website for information, applications, and specific deadlines. It features information for future freshman, transfer, international, graduate, and non-degree students. It also has links to information about visiting the Mason campus and signing up for a campus tour.
Acceptance to all CVPA programs requires more than the online University application. Admission to the University is required; however, acceptance to all degree programs require additional reviews: auditions, portfolios, and/or interviews. Please review each program's requirements. If you are interested in a particular undergraduate major's admissions requirements, please visit the individual program website for more information.

Graduate Admissions
CVPA Graduate Admissions is a self-managed system that is administered by the University’s Graduate Admissions Office: http://admissions.gmu.edu/grad/
We encourage interested applicants to open their applications online, provide correct and current information, and check the status of the application on a continual basis. Applicants are assigned a “G#” once an application is opened; this is a Mason identification number that will be key to all University communications. Once accepted, applicants who file an “Intent to Enroll” must submit a $200 deposit which is applied to the first semester tuition.
If you have general questions about graduate studies at CVPA or need assistance with the CVPA graduate studies application process, please visit the CVPA Graduate Studies page or contact the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs.
