how we connect

The Arts at Mason Partnership seeks to make the visual and performing arts a pervasive element of the lives in the communities served by George Mason University. The mission of the Arts at Mason Partnership is to expand opportunities for the development, presentation, and appreciation of the arts and arts education within the region by appropriately linking the resources of the University and the communities. This group of dedicated individuals support the students, faculty, administration of the College of Visual of Performing Arts; the group works diligently with the staff of the Center for the Arts and the Hylton Performing Arts Center to ensure quality, professional performances for the Northern Virginia area.

In addition to the Partnership, each CVPA discipline has either a "Friends" group or Advisory Board that works in conjunction of the Arts at Mason Partnership. The Friends and Advisory Boards are organizations dedicated to providing financial and volunteer support to the individual programs, so that they may fulfill their academic goals and programmatic aspirations.
