    Roger C. Jeffrey was born and raised in New York City where he began his training at Bernice Johnson Cultural Arts Center in Jamaica, Queens.
  • Mark Jenkins

    Dr. Mark Jenkins began his musical studies on the euphonium at the age of 11 in his home state of Nevada. During his early studies, he was awarded top honors at state, regional and international solo competitions, including the Nevada Governor’s Scholarship to attend the prestigious Interlochen Fine Arts Camp in Michigan and 1st prize at the 1996 Leonard Falcone International Tuba and Euphonium Competition.

    Christopher Jewell is the Assistant Principal Bassoonist of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra.  An active performer in the Washington, DC area, Mr. Jewell also regularly performs with the Eclipse Chamber Orchestra, Post Classical Ensemble, Wolf Trap Opera Company, and the Chesapeake Chamber Orchestra.

    Johnna Johnson joined Mason as the new Assistant Director of Development for the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and in this role she will be working closely with the Reva and Sid Dewberry Family School of Music and Friends of Music at Mason.
