Year of Gilbert and Sullivan Celebration

George Mason University is proud to present performances, exhibitions and a forum as part of a year-long celebration of the work of Gilbert and Sullivan.

Gilbert and Sullivan Forum

April 29 at 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

A full-day experience including noted scholars, a guided tour of the Gilbert and Sullivan exhibition in Fenwick Library, and lunch. The forum will be followed by a performance of Iolanthe by the School of Music. (Forum participants meet in Fenwick Library, Main Reading Room, 2001.)

Friends of Music at Mason Dinner

April 29, 5:45-8:00 pm

Friends of Music is sponsoring a dinner (open to the general public) with a pre-performance discussion about Iolanthe, by the CVPA Dean, Rick Davis.

Location:

George’s, in the Johnson Center (third floor).

Tickets:

Tickets are $65 and proceeds will go to support student scholarships. $25 of the ticket price is tax deductible. Buy tickets.
