We know it’s not even Halloween so why are we talking about Thanksgiving? Because at our last board meeting, a member asked if all the Theater students were able to go home for Thanksgiving. If not, did we have Friends willing to share their Thanksgiving dinner with the stranded students? If invited, would the students accept an invitation to dine with a Friend’s family?
We don’t know the answers to any of these questions, so we’re starting with a query of our Friends–would you be willing to host two (or more) students on Thanksgiving and provide transportation to/from the campus if necessary?
If you are interested, send an email by November 1 to FOTM Events Coordinator Mack Miller and tell him how many students you can host. Once we know how many students we can host, the School of Theater will find out if any students will be separated from family on Thanksgiving and will extend our invitation.
