Biography

Qing Gao is an assistant professor in international arts management. He’s also director of Mason’s Confucius Institute, where he oversees programming, finance, and operations to build a bridge between Mason and China. He serves as special assistant to the dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts for China and global initiatives. He develops collaborative relations between the College and leading Chinese arts institutions on philanthropy and arts management. He received a bachelor’s degree from the School of Management, Fudan University in Shanghai, and Master of Science degree from Mason’s Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution.
