Dance Appreciation Minor
The minor (21 credits) is a general program of study designed for those students who are just discovering the joy of dance as well as those who have studied dance for many years. It offers students the opportunity to study ballet and contemporary dance as well as jazz, street dance and a variety of world dance genres. The theory course is combined with an array of stylistic approaches, to place dance in its historical and cultural context.
