Opportunities

Our students participate in established ensembles and take coursework taught by world-renowned faculty. At Mason, we present many concerts on campus in our Center for the Arts and the Hylton Performing Arts Center, and often allow students the chance to take center stage as soloists and spotlight artists. Many of our Artist Certificate students have the chance to work with our Mason Community Arts Academy, a community arts school that is affiliated with the university. Given our location near Washington, D.C., our students are immersed in a rich and diverse cultural setting, which allows for a wide range of educational and performance opportunities.
