    Paloma Vianey Martinez Acosta is an interdisciplinary artist from Ciudad Juárez, Mexico who currently lives and works in Washington D.C. Her work explores the vulnerabilities and violence of her community and narrates her experience crossing the U.S.-Mexico border daily, questioning the political corruptness of this division.
  • Brandon Wallace

    Brandon Wallace’s artistic passion lies in telling stories through drawing and painting. Wallace holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from The Maryland Institute College of Art and a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration from Syracuse University. 
  • Gail Scott White

    Full Professor, School of Art, CVPA

    Gail Scott White is a new media scenographer and animator who collaboratively makes “Live Movies,” a hybrid art form that interactively synthesizes animation and cinematic art, and theatrical and musical elements with built environments and live performance.
  • Cristian Wicha

    An award-winning industrial designer, woodworker, photographer, and sculptor from the D.C. area Cristian Wicha has been designing furniture for production for the past 25 years.
  • Sue Wrbican

    Full Professor, School of Art, CVPA

    Professor Wrbican has an MFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BA in Poetry from the University of Pittsburgh. Her studio is located in the Monroe Street Market Arts Walk in Washington, D.C.
  • Robert Yi

    Assistant Director of the School of Art, Assistant Professor, Academic Advisor, School of Art, CVPA

    Robert Yi was born in Seoul, South Korea, and immigrated to the United States at the age of four. He received his MFA from American University, graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Foreign Affairs and the Corcoran College of Art & Design with a BFA.

    Yoder was born in Cleveland, Ohio and studied at Dartmouth, the Cleveland Institute of Art and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine. His work is in numerous public and private collections, and exhibitions include shows at the Brooklyn Museum of Art...
  • Paul Zdepski

    Adjunct Faculty, School of Art, CVPA

    Paul is an Illustrator, cartoonist, painter, and university professor who applies his skill and sense of humor to a wide breadth of venues. He holds a BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and an MFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford.
