Harris Theatre

Closure: Harris Theatre is getting a complete renovation. No classes, performances, or events will be held in this venue until 2022.

Beginning October 18, 2021, all attendees at indoor events at all our venues must present proof of vaccination against COVID-19 OR show a negative COVID-19 test result. Face coverings are required indoors for patrons ages two and up. Learn More.

Soaring Sounds in an Intimate Setting

When this busy stage reopens, it will once again feature music performances including recitals, chamber music and larger ensemble concerts, dance performances, theater productions, speakers, and special events.

The renovations will result in an expanded lobby featuring dedicated restrooms and an updated ticket office. Performers and crew will enjoy a newly refinished backstage including dressing rooms and green room, and all will appreciate upgrades to the heating and ventilation system and state-of-the-art theatrical lighting and audio.

The venue offers performers and audience members the benefit of optimum acoustics in an intimate setting. The nature of the venue lends itself to a variety of presentations, including speaking events, classical or contemporary theater, music recitals, dance productions, film screenings, and music recording sessions.

Harris Theatre is a modified proscenium theater. It is not currently available for rental, but may be reserved for events beginning in February 2022. The venue has been used by community arts organizations, as well ad recording studios seeking a “live” sounding room. Learn more about rentals.
